Coronary Angiography

Coronary Angiography is an integral part of the general procedure of Cardiac Catheterization. Cardiac Catheterization procedure helps in diagnosing and treatment of blood vessels of the heart.

The procedure takes place using a special type of dye injected into the blood vessel. Using X-Ray imaging, Coronary Angiography checks the blood vessel of the heart. It also checks whether there are any hindrances of blood supply due to reduced blood flow.

Our medical specialists perform diagnosis and treatment for those suffering from heart ailment using Coronary Angiography. An intravenous line IV is inserted through which a patient will be given sedation. It relaxes the body and helps the doctor to carry forward the insertion of the catheter tube. However, catheter insertion takes place through an incision point. After that, the doctor identifies the blockages in the artery walls (if any).
